  • Project Overview

    Project Components

We implemented a pilot Kaizen project at King Khalid Hospital in the dialysis and cardiac units and the quality department. The program trained doctors and nurses on Kaizen and Lean, mapped current and future state value streams, applied 5S and visual management, and developed one‑point lessons and improvement plans.

    A. The Challenge

Healthcare units faced inefficiencies and were burdened with long patient flows and wasted effort. Staff needed structured methods to identify problems and implement improvements.

    B. Our Solution

We conducted a Kaizen pilot, trained clinicians and quality staff, mapped processes, applied 5S, developed one‑point lesson documentation, and guided teams through problem‑solving and improvement planning.

    C. Key Achievements

The project streamlined patient flow, improved service quality, reduced waste in the dialysis and cardiac units, and built capacity among clinical staff to sustain continuous improvement.
