  • Project Overview

    Project Components

This consulting project established and operated a Tourism Economics Unit within the Ministry of Tourism. It designed a comprehensive operating model, developed analytical tools and methodologies, integrated data sources and built staff capacity to evaluate the economic impact of tourism and support evidence‑based policy making.

    A. The Challenge

The ministry lacked internal capabilities to assess tourism’s economic impact and needed a dedicated unit to perform rigorous analyses.

    B. Our Solution

Specialists designed the unit’s organisational structure and processes, created economic models and analytical frameworks, integrated necessary data and trained staff to sustain operations.

    C. Key Achievements

A fully operational Tourism Economics Unit was established, equipped with analytical models and trained personnel, enabling the ministry to conduct economic impact assessments independently.

    Project Summary

The project created a dedicated Tourism Economics Unit, with models, data integration and trained staff to assess tourism’s economic impact and support policy decisions.
