  • Project Overview

    Project Components

The project supports the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector in Saudi Arabia to assess quality and excellence maturity, identify priority improvements, and build institutional capabilities. It develops a strategic roadmap, prepares for European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) recognition and ISO 9001:2015 certification, embeds a culture of excellence, and motivates staff through structured evaluations and feedback-driven performance enhancement.

    A. The Challenge

The Center needed to raise organizational maturity and standardize quality practices while preparing for external excellence and quality accreditation. Across different units, improvement efforts were fragmented, with varying levels of capability and engagement. The key challenge was to embed a culture of continuous improvement and motivate staff to participate actively in excellence and certification initiatives.

    B. Our Solution

We conducted a comprehensive current-state assessment of quality and excellence practices, benchmarked against EFQM and ISO 9001:2015 requirements, and produced a clear, phased roadmap. We prepared certification files, designed targeted capability-building programs, and issued analytical feedback reports. Staff incentives, recognition mechanisms, and enablement activities were aligned to support implementation and sustain continuous improvement across all organizational units.

    C. Key Achievements

The project prioritized key improvement areas and delivered a strategic roadmap for excellence and quality management. The Center achieved readiness for EFQM and ISO 9001:2015, reinforced a culture of excellence, and introduced systematic performance enhancement practices. Analytical feedback reports improved decision making, while employee engagement and ownership of excellence and certification initiatives increased significantly across departments.

    Project Summary

Assessed maturity, defined a roadmap, built capabilities, and prepared the Center for EFQM recognition and ISO 9001:2015 certification while embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
