Project Components

This project develops mechanisms to recognise outstanding digital transformation achievements and encourages participation in regional and international awards. It designs and updates the Digital Government Award, aligns categories and criteria with national and global trends, expands its scope, maintains an updated calendar of awards, prepares nomination packages and offers tailored consulting and guidance.

A. The Challenge

To boost Saudi Arabia’s presence in global digital competitiveness, government entities required incentives, recognition structures and expert support to enter and succeed in digital transformation awards. Existing awards needed modernisation and alignment with international standards, and agencies lacked resources to prepare high-quality nominations.

B. Our Solution

We redesigned the Digital Government Award categories, criteria and nomination models, and conducted workshops for participants and judges. We expanded the award regionally and internationally, built an up-to-date calendar of local and global awards, and established an expert team to prepare forty nomination packages annually. Detailed guidelines and consultative sessions were provided.

C. Key Achievements

The project modernised the Digital Government Award, launched workshops, produced a comprehensive awards calendar and guidance materials, and supported numerous national projects in winning regional and international recognition. By pairing expert consulting with robust documentation, it elevated Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation profile and fostered healthy competition.
