    Project Components

The project produced a roadmap for the Women's Committee of the Family Affairs Council to establish strategic partnerships and agreements supporting women’s empowerment. It identified local and international partners based on clear criteria, facilitated the creation of five partnerships in Saudi Arabia and five abroad and organised an annual meeting to showcase partners’ contributions and align efforts.

    A. The Challenge

The committee lacked a structured approach to forming partnerships and agreements that effectively support women’s empowerment initiatives. Without a clear plan and criteria, opportunities for collaboration and impact were missed.

    B. Our Solution

We designed a partnership roadmap detailing procedures for identifying, engaging and formalising partnerships. A report listed priority partners and selection criteria. We assisted in securing five local and five international agreements and organised an annual partners’ forum to share achievements and strengthen cooperation.

    C. Key Achievements

The Women’s Committee now has a clear partnership strategy. Ten strategic collaborations have been formed, expanding resources and expertise for empowerment programmes. The annual forum fosters ongoing dialogue and showcases progress, enhancing visibility and impact of the committee’s work.

    Project Summary

A roadmap and partnerships strategy enabled the Women’s Committee to form ten strategic agreements supporting empowerment initiatives.
